afan Copyright Policy

afan respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This policy explains how to tell us about content that infringes your copyright, including posts, comments and artworks offered in the Shop.

1. Account suspension or termination

We may remove infringing content and listings, and we may suspend or close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights or otherwise break the Terms of Service.

2. Copyright infringement notification

If you believe that your copyright-protected work was posted, sold or otherwise made available on afan without authorization, you may send us a notification. It must include:

• your name and contact information (an email address, and a postal address or phone number);
• a clear description of the work you believe has been infringed;
• the address (URL) of each post, profile or Shop listing you want removed;
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
• a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf;
• your physical or electronic signature (you may type your full legal name at the end of your notification).

Send the notification to help@afan.ai with “Copyright” in the subject.

3. What happens next

When we receive a complete notification, we remove or disable access to the content in afan and tell the user who posted it. If the file is stored in the user’s own AinDrive, we stop showing and selling it in afan; the file itself remains under the control of the user and of AinDrive, and you may also contact AinDrive. Records already written to a public blockchain cannot be erased, but we stop showing them in afan. Payments already made for a removed artwork are not reversed by us.

4. Counter-notification

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may send us a counter-notification. It must include:

• your full legal name, email address, postal address and phone number (if you act for the user, for example as their lawyer, say so);
• the address (URL) of the content that was removed or disabled;
• the statement: “I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.”;
• your agreement that disputes about the removal are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea;
• your physical or electronic signature.

Send it to help@afan.ai with “Copyright counter-notification” in the subject. We will forward the entire counter-notification, including your contact information, to the person who sent the original notification. The process may take up to 14 business days. The decision to restore any content is at our discretion.
